My Dad has a one ton deully and that's the way I park. b/c if you don't the car in the next spot will be too close and it can and will damage the flares and that one space bit doesn't work!

I would not be jealous. BUT it IS very inconsiderate to occupy 4 parking spaces with only ONE vehicle.. If you do not want people to park close to you, go find a part of the parking lot where noone else is parking, then take ONE space..
