Accused bank robber posts video of crime on Instagram (USA today) VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — "For real, I didn't even do it for money, you understand? I didn't do for that money. I knew my pic would get exposure," said #DominykAlfonseca as he sat in the Virginia Beach Correctional Center Wednesday. Alfonseca, who is accused of robbing TowneBank at Virginia Beach Town Center, posted pictures and video on his Instagram account showing the note he gave to a teller at the branch Monday, as well as the teller piling money on the counter. Instagram @himandher91 Dominyk Alfonseca posted a picture of the note he handed bank tellers to Instagram. Alfonseca, who was not armed, contends that he never actually demanded money, and that the teller simply gave it to him. He took it, and he left the bank. Dominyk Antonio Alfonseca, 23, of Norfolk, is accused of robbing a bank in Virginia Beach. Within a half-hour, Virginia Beach police officers found Alfonseca and arrested him. "'Get down! Get down in the dirt!'" Alfonseca recalled were the first officer's words to him. "I was like, 'All right. Cool.' So, I got down." Alfonseca added, "For real, I felt like I got robbed, 'cause they gave me the money. Then, the police robbed my brain," he said. It was not the only reference Alfonseca made to his brain during the interview in jail. In a number of instances, he drifted off topic. He told WVEC-TV, "I don't know what it is, if there's chips or whatever that they're putting in people's brains or I have one — if I have one — I don't know how they have it, how I have it, but people know, like, before I do something what I'm thinking, or they would post it on Instagram." Alfonseca said during the course of years, people have stolen his ideas. In terms of the crime for which he is charged, Alfonseca said, "Everything is relative, you know what I mean? It's however you want to take it. I'm telling you why I did what I did, you know what I mean? But if justice is served in that thing, then I think justice shall be served all around." #doitforthegram #video #pressplay
