Why does the darker doll cost less?

My kids are mixed so I get to buy all the pretty black and white Barbies. They don't even have mixed Barbies. When I was little my mom used to get me this Hawaiian Barbie named Kira. WHERE'S MY KIRA DOLLS? That's what I want to know! :P

Most of these comments are unreal! The doll was marked at a lower price BECAUSE they had more in stock then the other and wanted to make room for new items...I don't believe there was any "hidden message" here. Maybe they should make all Barbies pink so as not to offend ANYONE! Wtf is wrong with this world!

The black one is on because the white ones sale more, thus the Cisco one is just taking up shelf space so they are trying to get rid of them. I'm sure the store didn't decide to price it lower just because...that would be retarded!

actually im exceptionally bright graduated with honers and my child is only in 2 grade but read at a 6th grade level and his mathematics is at a 4th grade level. but unlike most ppl whom think negativity and want to throw the race card out for EVERY THING i choose to see logic in the most obvious things .

We are more fertile that whites and produce and a Much higher rate that whites, in fact, white Europeans (and white americans) have actually stopped reproducing, which is another reason they are pushing interracial dating in the media, because they need our genetics and our melanin. How do we not know that the black doll just happened to be defective but the white ones aren't (yes, some store do sell defective things)? There are more dolls to the left of those dolls, how do you know those aren't black and are worth just as much as the white ones there? RacheltheBookof GenesistheBeginning McAlister Um. This actually proves nothing about "caucasian practices." red mark down happens when there is an overstock of an item. People simply were not buying the black doll enough so the store halts stocking them until demand increases, then the price goes back to that of the in demand doll. Color has nothing to do with it. Its pure finance. Don't try to create issues where none exist.
