personally, I'm tired of "US" giving these designer's all these accolades when we don't get an ounce of sponsorship for them! No different than the men wearing NIKE from top to bottom..really? OR car painted with Skittles or Barq's Root Beer..wth>? Why do some of us..do that? NOW, unless Louis V asked her to wear his latest gown at her exclusive wedding..fine. Or if you are a race car driver, and Coca Cola and Home Depot has signed with you...COOL! But if not...stop wearing M&M jackets and painting your cars with no Sponsorship. These companies pay out the ear for that kind of advertisement..all I'm saying is get in on it! Because that's business, the rest of it..is just Ghetto!

I think its some type of psychosis that people who grew up poor suffer from because across the race spectrum poor ppl do this sort of behavior smh to me its like that person you encounter that talks louder and name drop stuff thinking your really interested in their convo lol

It's funny because in Booker T. Washington's autobiography, I remember him talking about how blk folks would pay $5 for a carriage ride through Central Park, even thought it was a majority of their week's wages. I guess things haven't changed much in that regard. They have champagne taste with 211 money.

I hope loui v make a dress just like this & pay the designer 4 the idea. people always have some shit to say as if their shit is all together. Although I don't agree with how the fashion industry does us, I still think people should be able to do what makes them happy.
