I mean, putting your baby in a purse and posting it on fb may not be the most responsible or "motherly" thing to do. But I don't think her child is in any danger. She may just have a weird sense of humor. Or it may be an inside joke. People are being too hard on her about this picture! I have seen worse! For real for real!

Its dangerous because newborns have very delicate necks. Her child could be seriously hurt. The baby has no support for the head or neck

I would not put my child in a purse either. But to have people say she should have been reported, and that this is presented as one of the parent fails is doing too much! lbs the baby's neck is supported. Will it be in a way that I will support my child's neck, no! but the child is not in danger.

The baby isn't in danger, are you serious? A purse can only support so much weight, had those straps snapped we would be seeing that pic in a newspaper article. What about the fact that babies neck is wobbly, had her head fallen back she could have fallen to the ground or snapped her neck like Annna said, think about it. Common sense, goes a long way if you use it.

Alot of things that people do with their children, can turn deadly.. Dont jump on me because I have my own opinion about the picture. I am not the one putting my child in a purse. You guys want to shake your head at someone and say how bad they are to make yourself feel good. I am calling it how I SEE IT! Get a life. and don't put your baby in a purse if u feel that it will snap and the baby will fall and bust his head open and that u will go to prison for it. All I was saying is that I am looking at it from multiple points of view. I feel that parents that sleep in the bed with a new born is putting the baby in more danger than putting the baby in a purse. But everyone has an opinion. Gosh! Someone must have put u guys in a purse when u were a baby, and u remember the straps snapping and that u could have died... @anna I know as a mother I wont do. But I because I may not do it-- does not give me the right to say to this young lady in the picture that she is a bad mom. I dont know the situation, nor do I care. I do Know that, to me, the child is not in immediate danger. From the likes and other comments-- I am not the only one that feels that way. I laugh because it is okay for people to call me ignorant, to comment on my comment as if I have said something outlandish. If people want to call me ignorant. I may say the same about you. But I don't because I don't take myself that seriously! Awwwww, I think it's cute, she's just showing of how tiny the baby is. Smh. Babies aren't as fragile as we try to make them out to be. That doesn't mean you go about slanging the poor babies all around but this was a cute photo op. Ann Geddes even had the itty bitties in christmas stockings. :)
